The location was fantastic, being close to Chinatown and the Hawkers market for breakfast. Reception being open 24 hours was a big plus for late arrivals. The Scarlet's quirky interior design added to its appeal. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The free minibar and comfortable beds were a nice touch.

The hotel felt a bit tired and could use some rejuvenation.

We loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of Chinatown with plenty of amazing food options nearby. It's also conveniently located near the CBD and Gardens by the Bay, making it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, and the staff were helpful and attentive.

I recently stayed at The Scarlet in Singapore for a short holiday trip. The reception staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel's location in Chinatown was a major advantage, with the construction of a nearby metro station soon to be completed, making it even more well-connected. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to multiple MRT stations made it convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend staying here.

This place is excellently located and full of character. It's located on a beautiful and quaint alley in the heart of Chinatown, right opposite a huge food arcade that offers all kinds of Singaporean culinary delights. The staff is attentive and always greets you with a warm smile. They even helped me push my wife's wheelchair around! The rooms are comfortable and stylish, equipped with all necessary amenities. The in-room smartphone was particularly helpful, allowing us to navigate around the city and book attractions on the go. The hotel also offers a range of services, including room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and laundry.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boutique hotel in Chinatown.

We absolutely loved staying at this luxurious and comfortable 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated on a charming and boutique alley in the heart of Chinatown. Within just a minute's walk, we found ourselves in an area bustling with bars, restaurants, and shops. We were also delighted to discover that directly opposite the hotel was the Maxwell Hawker Centre, a food arcade offering a wide variety of delicious Singaporean delights. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the local cuisine.

In short, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We cannot recommend it enough to our family and friends.

The decoration was delightfully eccentric and the rooftop bar and outdoor jacuzzi added a touch of luxury. The location was perfect for exploring the city, especially China Town. We loved the complimentary restock of the mini bar and the comfortable room. The restaurant attached to the hotel served delicious food. Despite a few minor issues with wifi and check-in, we had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and cute. The interior of the hotel was great and had a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation options.

One downside was that some rooms had no windows, which wasn't made clear beforehand. This lack of natural light made it hard to keep track of time.

I recently stayed at a boutique hotel in the China town area, conveniently located near the Maxwell Food market. The hotel was also within walking distance to Chinatown and other markets, making it a great location for exploring. The receptionist staff were very helpful in providing information and recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The rooms were comfortable, and the washroom facilities were spacious, even accommodating for handicap/wheelchairs. Free bottles of water and mints were provided, adding to the overall convenience and comfort of the stay.

There was an issue with the hotel charging extra for a late check-out despite promising it would be free. This made me question the trustworthiness of the hotel's policies.
